BMI held its 56th Annual Pop Awards Wednesday, honoring Daryl Hall and John Oates as BMI Icons (time has clearly not been kind to these dudes but they rock!). Now , some of you may be too young to know who Hall and Oates are as am I, but luckily for me, my parents' love of music rubbed off on me. The awards show, held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles ,was an invitation-only ceremony hosted by BMI President & CEO Del Bryant and BMI Vice President/General Manager, Barbara Cane. in addition to artists, the writers and publishers of the past year's 50 most-performed pop songs from BMI's extensive catalog of more than 6.5 million compositions were also recognized.Christina Milian, and Bubba Sparx were in attendance, Oh and did I mention Christina Milian (with her fine ass) was there. Call me girl!
